This is a 1.5 story home that sits on the golf course in Leawood South. This home has an office formal dinning, and a huge family room that we opened up to the massive cathedral ceiling kitchen. The Office and Kitchen both got bead board in the ceilings to give the home almost a french cottage feel. The cabinets were just recently installed as you can see, and the painters were getting the home ready to paint, as you can tell from the pictures. Tax record shows 2463 sq ft on the main floor, and 3615 sq ft above grade. Once again we are finishing a bedroom with egress, full bath, media and game room areas in the basement. You can get a feel for how much space is down there. When it's done this home should be over 5,000 sq ft. The master is on the main with a siding door to access the back yard. There is a covered porch off of the kitchen. Upstairs is a 3 bed 2 bath with one of those rooms being a master suite, the other two rooms have a hall bath. Builder thinks that at this point we are about 4 weeks out until completion, and this house is going to be a real breath taker when it's done.

Paint is well on it's way. As you can see the office ceiling bead board got a stain and the old built-ins were given kind of a cream. Once the walls get some color it's really going to make the two pop. The kitchen is getting something I haven't seen Trisha do yet. It's getting some stain and some of the antique finish. If you can tell from the pictures through the plastic that some is dark and some light. She has the one upper that is going to have glass front with the bead board stained behind it, I think it looks awesome. When you stand back and look at how the bead board and the piers in the ceiling work out with the cabinets and seeing the length of that room it's really impressive. The contrast on the cabinets just really gives it a cool country side feel to it. The pictures don't do it justice the space is so big there is so much going on you need to be there to really take it all in. This home is reported to be only 2-3 weeks away and should look really sharp.
